Africa is often a study in contrasts. I am staying in one of the most beautiful places that I have every been but seeing patients in one of the poorest countries in the world at an old weary-but-well-loved hospital that has limited supplies, medications, and lab studies available. Praise God that a brand new, much better outfitted hospital is due to open later this year with the promise of continuing the 50 year history of ELWA's care for Liberia!
