Beautiful Tansen, Nepal

Welcome to UMH Tansen
My time at United Mission Hospital Tansen in Nepal is going by too quickly.  It has been a pleasure to work alongside the Nepali and missionary physician staff.  There are house officers (interns and residents) who provide essential care and allow me the opportunity to be a teacher.  They are my Nepali language translators and cultural resources; without them I would not be able to provide any care!

The spectacular geography is hard to capture on film so these are just a few images to give you a glimpse.  Tansen is located at about 5000 feet above sea level and all the buildings are "plastered" against the hillside.

Stay tuned-I'll be back with more stories!
