Church and Chapel at Mbingo

We have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to worship here. The singing is great and the sermons are well-organized and Bible-based. Not to mention that almost everything is in English. The Mbingo Baptist Church seats about 300 people and is usually filled. There is a separate area in the front for the choir/praise team. The church service lasts a bit longer than we are used to - last Sunday, there was a children's Palm Sunday procession and musical performance, then the adults and choir sang for nearly an hour, followed by a 40 minute sermon and finally, a communion service....2 hours and 40 minutes in all. After church, people visit outside and then head home for a relaxing afternoon.
The hospital chapel is the first site people see
as they enter the Mbingo grounds.
