We became proud grandparents on July 15, 2009 when Stella Ann Oviatt was born to Ted and Jodi. What a blessing it has been to watch her grow over the past 14 months !!! They live about 10 miles from us so we have had the wonderful joy of helping to care for Stella while her parents are at work (Ted works in quality control at High Grade Materials and Jodi is an RN at West Michigan Heart) - depending on schedules, we have cared for Stella from one to three days a week.
Stella is a blast !!! She has sandy blond hair, blue eyes, a quick smile, an expanding vocabulary of jibberish, and a very mischievous persona - a lot like grandmother Susie, in my (Dave's) opinion !!! She eats just about anything and enjoys trying new things. Whether she will turn out to be the most beautiful, smartest, most athletic grandchild in the universe remains to be seen but she seems to be off to a great start !!!
