Last week the orange shirts of the LIFT team from Ireland appeared at Galmi. LIFT is a ministry that began in 1997 that sends specially skilled teams around the world about 12 times each year. They have served in Madagascar, South Africa, Columbia, Ukraine and other countries. This is their 16th trip to Galmi. Ian, the team leader owns Little Electric in Ireland. They bring special expertise to upgrade the power grid and install new underground cables.
For weeks, Nigerian day laborers have dug four foot deep trenches throughout the compound. Now the LIFT team works with them to update the cables.
This year's team has an Aussie, a Scot, 5 "Southern" Ireland, and 6 Northern Ireland professionals-here for two weeks and hot, hard important work!!
Praise God for their service and commitment to the King!
